When a fire breaks in an antique shop in New York City, scores of antique lead toy soldiers come to life and must somehow break free from the glass display cases. That is only the beginning of their adventures. Threatened from every direction, they make their way to Central Park in hopes of finding the young boy who comes to visit them every day after school. But first, they must deal with the belligerent and deadly hordes of squirrels and pigeons who are trying to track them down. This leads to a final showdown at the Alice in Wonderland Statue where the boys and the soldiers find themselves facing an even greater danger.
